6.3.2 SELECT PATTERNFILL
The SELECT PATTERNFILL command is used to select a new patternfill data
file or to list the name of the currently selected patternfill data file.
All commands that access a patternfill definition - whether for display or
modification - always access the patternfill data from the currently
selected patternfill data file. Different patternfill data files can be
constructed to suit different types of drawings. This can be more efficient
than keeping one large patternfill data file as there is a limit to how
much patternfill data will fit into memory.
Only one patternfill data file can be active at one time. Therefore a
drawing should only have references to patternfills contained in a single
data file. The name of a selected patternfill data file is stored with the
drawing so it is automatically reselected when the drawing is recalled.
MODIFIERS
NAME The name of a patternfill data file to select. If the file
does not exist, it is assumed that a new patternfill data
file is going to be created. The file name should be in
standard AmigaDos format consisting of no more than 80
characters.
DEFAULT Used to select the default patternfill data file -
"XCDATA:patternfill". This is the data file active when X-CAD
is first started.
LIST The LIST modifier is used to list the name of the currently
selected patternfill data file.
